Custom Order Policy
Last Updated: June 25, 2026
At LMM Atelier, custom work is a commissioned process built around precision, purpose, and controlled production. This policy applies to all custom, personalized, made-to-order, branded, engraved, printed, embroidered, and commissioned work.
By placing a custom order, you acknowledge and agree to this Custom Order Policy.
1. Custom Work We Offer
LMM Atelier specializes in applied design and customization, not full garment construction.
Available custom work may include:
- Graphic tees and apparel printing
- DTF and sublimation work
- Custom hats and headwear
- Select embroidery
- Laser engraving
- Wood-based projects
- Branded merchandise
- Event, business, and organization orders
- Limited merchandise drops
We do not offer full garment creation from scratch, advanced tailoring, or large-scale manufacturing.
2. Custom Order Requests
Custom orders are accepted based on availability, materials, production capacity, project scope, and brand fit.
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All requests should include:
- Project type
- Quantity
- Item type
- Design files or artwork
- Placement details
- Color preferences
- Size breakdown, if applicable
- Deadline, if any
- Shipping or pickup preference
Incomplete requests may delay review or approval.
3. Quotes & Payment
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is required before production begins unless a written deposit arrangement is approved.
If a deposit is accepted, the remaining balance must be paid before pickup, delivery, or shipment.
4. Design Files & Artwork
Customers are responsible for providing clear, usable artwork.
Preferred files include high-resolution PNG, SVG, PDF, or vector files.
Low-quality files may be rejected or may require redesign. Minor adjustments may be included at our discretion. Additional design work may result in added fees.
By submitting artwork, logos, images, wording, or designs, you confirm that you own or have permission to use all submitted content. LMM Atelier is not responsible for copyright, trademark, or ownership claims related to customer-supplied materials.
5. Design Approval
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs, including:
- Spelling
- Names
- Dates
- Artwork
- Colors
- Layout
- Placement
- Sizing
- Materials
- Personalization details
Approval authorizes LMM Atelier to begin production.
Customer-approved errors are not the responsibility of LMM Atelier.
6. Production Timelines
Production timelines vary based on order size, complexity, materials, and current workload.
Estimated standard timelines:
- Small orders, 1–10 items: 7–14 business days
- Medium orders, 10–50 items: 2–4 weeks
- Large orders, 50+ items: 4–8+ weeks
Timelines begin after payment, final design approval, and receipt of all required information.
Estimated completion dates are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
7. Rush Production
Rush production may be available on a limited basis and must be approved before the order is accepted.
Rush fees are applied to the total order:
- Standard Rush, 5–7 business days: +25%
- Priority Rush, 3–5 business days: +40%
- Emergency Rush, 1–3 business days: +60%
Rush timelines begin only after full payment, rush fee payment, design approval, and receipt of all required materials.
Rush fees are non-refundable.
Rush service may be declined if materials are unavailable, production capacity is exceeded, the project is too large, or the timeline would compromise quality.
Delays caused by missing information, late approvals, incorrect files, or customer-side changes may void rush priority without refund of the rush fee.
8. Changes & Cancellations
Once production begins, custom orders cannot be canceled, refunded, exchanged, or substantially changed.
Changes requested before production begins may be considered but are not guaranteed.
If a cancellation is approved before significant production has begun, up to 50% of the order total may be refunded at LMM Atelier’s discretion. Once materials, design time, labor, or production have been allocated, no refund will be issued.
9. Final Sale
All custom, personalized, made-to-order, commissioned, printed, engraved, embroidered, and branded products are final sale.
We do not accept returns, refunds, exchanges, cancellations, or store credit for custom work except where required by law.
10. Variations & Handmade Characteristics
Custom work may include natural or production-based variations.
Slight differences in color, texture, fabric, wood grain, engraving depth, print placement, stitching, finish, sizing, and screen-to-product color are normal and are not considered defects.
Digital proofs and screen displays may not perfectly represent final colors or materials.
11. Customer Errors
LMM Atelier is not responsible for customer-approved errors, including but not limited to:
- Misspelled names or wording
- Incorrect dates
- Wrong sizes
- Incorrect colors
- Low-quality artwork
- Incorrect placement
- Approved layout issues
- Incorrect order quantities
Please review all details carefully before approving production.
12. Refusal of Service

- Violates applicable law
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains offensive, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful content
- Cannot be completed to our quality standards
- Requires an unrealistic deadline
- Falls outside our production capabilities
13. Shipping & Pickup
